Terms & Conditions

Please read the terms and conditions for Aurora Polearis carefully, as they contain important information. By using our services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. These terms may be subject to change by Aurora Polearis.

Age limit

The minimum age for participants is 18 years.

Changes

Aurora Polearis has the right to change the timetable as needed.

Classes may be stopped on holydays (Christmas, easter, summer, autumn/winter break, public holydays) This does not affect the monthly fee.

Health and safety

It is the participants' own responsibility to ensure that they do not expose themselves to physical exertion that goes beyond what they can safely manage.

All participants must fill in a health form before taking part in classes.

If you are in any doubt about your health or if you are pregnant, please inform your instructor before the class begins.

It is your responsibility to follow the instructions from Aurora Polearis instructors. Aurora Polearis is not responsible for damages etc. that may occur during training.

Aurora Polearis reserves the right to exclude participants who show signs of injury or overtraining or who for other reasons should not participate because there is a risk to their own or others' health and safety.

Only sign up for classes that match your skill level. If you are unsure what level you are on, one of our instructors can guide you.

Membership

Signing up for membership is a binding contract between the member and Aurora Polearis. A membership is personal and classes cannot be used by anyone other than the member himself. Members book classes themselves online.

Aurora Polearis reserves the right to ban participants who do not follow the Standard Terms, show signs of overtraining or injury or who otherwise do not follow the instructions of instructors and who in this way may endanger their own or others' health or safety.

 

Rules for booking classes

Online booking of classes is allowed 3 days before a class. Participants must show up at least five minutes before classes begin to get registered for class and take part in the warmup.

If you are on the waiting list and can’t come to class, please cancel your place on the list. If you get a place and do not accept or cancel in time for others to accept you will be charged a no-show fee (4 hours before class starts).

 

Rules for cancelling classes

Participants who arrive more than 5 minutes late will not be admitted to the class and will be charged a no show/late cancellation fee of NOK 100 per class. The fee is to be paid before signing up for new classes.

Cancellation must be made within 8 hours before the class.

 

General Rules

Warmup before using the pole.

Spinning poles must be put back in static mode after use.

Clean after yourself and put equipment back in place.

No jewellery is allowed, to prevent injury and damage to the poles. Piercings that cannot be removed must be taped.

No resin-based products. They are hard to clean and can cause injury to the skin in other tricks.

No shoes inside the studio.

Anny equipment left in the studio (yoga blocks, mats, mirrors, kneepads, exe.) can be used by anyone. If you don’t want to share, take it home when you leave.

Keep your voice down if you are talking during class, to avoid disturbing others

No one is allowed in class unless they have signed up or it has been approved by the board.

 

Filming, photos and SOME

Don’t film or take pictures of people who don’t want to be taken pictures of.

Don’t post on social media without asking anyone who is in the picture or video if it is okey.
